The famous Banana Bread in its best vegan version. A simple and delicious recipe that will make your home smell delicious!
Honestly? Before I tried it, I had never understood why Americans loved this "banana bread" so much. When I had this "bread" being sold somewhere, I would see my friends all excited wanting to buy it. And I didn't want to give it a chance, because after all, bananas are not my favorite fruit. I eat them when I have no other options, or to sweeten my smoothies and that is the truth. Even more, imagining banana bread! Bread for me is the bread from the bakery that salty. With so many other delicious options to eat, this dessert made from bananas had no chance with me.
And it was in Hawaii that everything changed!
Like in every romantic movie story when the girl meets the surfer guy on a small road in Hawaii. I was with my friend for hours on a road in Hawaii, going to visit some national park, and completely unprepared for a trip so long that, in the middle of the road, hungry, we found some vegans selling Banana Bread. I was starving and that was the only thing they were selling. So the end of the story you already know ... it was love at first bite. I finally understood why everyone was crazy about this dessert, and I and the Banana Bread lived happily ever after!
