This breakfast option is perfect for that special day, brunch, or a morning surprise for someone's birthday, or even to make just for yourself simply because you deserve it!
"Super fluffy, these pancakes not only taste amazing but also look so perfect that they could be out of a commercial movie"
Like all vegan recipes, it can be consumed by non-vegans as well. But, this recipe is still much better than the original one because it doesn't taste or smell like an egg! So if you know someone who avoids certain desserts because they can't stand the smell or taste of eggs, you can send them this recipe that he/she will love it!
A delicious recipe, super easy and quick to make with few ingredients, and still cruelty-free. Is there anything better?
This vegan recipe gets anyone out of bed in a good mood. I always do it for breakfast on special days like birthdays or just when I wake up craving sweets.
INGREDIENTS:
- 200g of All-Purpose Flour
- 2 tablespoons of sugar (25g)
- 1 tablespoon of baking powder (11g)
- A pinch of salt
- 1 cup of vegan milk
- 1/4 cup of water
- 1 tablespoon of apple cider vinegar
- 2 tablespoons of canola oil
- 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
INSTRUCTIONS:
1. In a bowl, with the help of a sieve add all dry ingredients and mix them with a spatula
2. In another bowl, add and mix all liquid ingredients
3. Add the liquid mixture to the container that the dry ingredients are in and mix until it forms a NON-HOMOGENEOUS dough, liquid but with some lumps inside. If you mix too much, your pancakes won't grow and they won't be fluffy. These lumps will disappear once the pancakes are cooked.
4. Grease a flat-bottomed skillet with oil and heat over low heat. Once the skillet is well heated, you can put your batter, with the help of a 1/3 cup measuring cup.
5. Bubbles will form and once the sides are dry it's time to flip your pancake. Cook 1-2min on the other side.
